MK1 NA Bumper Tuck Brackets

from $150.00

If your bumpers look goofy and stick out way too far but you don’t want to remove them for fear that people on the internet will pick on you (they will) these are for you. Yes, you could drill holes in the struts until they geyser hydraulic fluid all over your garage and then drive slowly up to a wall, but you would still not have your bumpers tucked as close as you would if you bought these brackets.

What it is

These brackets replace the factory bumper strut brackets on either the early steel bumpers with turn signals or the later aluminum style bumpers to tuck them closer to the body, removing the awkward gap.

What it is made of

Laser cut and CNC bent 3/16” mild steel powder coated matte black.

What is included with this purchase

  • L & R brackets

  • Zinc plated hardware

  • Black oxide carriage bolts and lock nuts are included with the late Westy kits

Other things you should know

With the bumpers tucked, the plastic end caps of your bumper will need to be trimmed to not rub on the paint.

It needs to be understood that you are removing a safety feature of the vehicle when installing these brackets. These are for off-road use only.
