MK1 Pick Up Bumper Tuck Brackets

from $220.00

If your bumpers look goofy and stick out way too far but you don’t want to remove them for fear that people on the internet will pick on you (they will) these are for you. Yes, you could drill holes in the front struts until they geyser hydraulic fluid all over your garage but there is no way to make the rear bumper match the front and your uncle with a stick welder who says he can fab something up for you won’t be home until after show season.

What it is

These brackets replace all the factory bumper brackets, removing the awkward gap.

What it is made of

Laser cut and CNC bent 3/16” mild steel powder coated matte black.

What is included with this purchase

  • L & R brackets for the front bumper

  • Rear bumper brackets

  • Zinc plated hardware and black oxide carriage bolts

Other things you should know

If you have a hitch, the plate it is mounted on may come in contact with your license plate. A hardware kit has been put together to lower the hitch plate 15mm to avoid contact with the license plate. The full write up can be found HERE.

With the bumpers tucked, the plastic end caps of your bumper may need to be trimmed to not rub on the paint.

It needs to be understood that you are removing a safety feature of the vehicle when installing these brackets. These are for off-road use only.
